I want my art to do more than mirror the subject.  I use the paint and canvas  to form a new reality of what is. The artwork is a visual expression of an object or place presented in a new reality. Created to provide a voice for a passion or feeling I want to explore and share.

Every person is a unique, valuable being.  Every bit of nature is a miracle to observe and cherish. In art, I choreograph a dance of forms. I compose through the balance and harmony of color. I can improvise a composition that expresses an intended  desire. The goal is to create and bring life to the piece. To show the wonder and beauty that surrounds us If we are open to recognizing it. 

Art has power. I am a person who believes anything is possible. My art brings a spirit into the space it inhabits that is life affirming. I want people to notice and feel what is going on. This work I create should have an essence of the wonder of life I have.

The appreciation for the uniqueness of each individual. The beauty that lives in each human. The magnificence

that shines through the presence of animals and all elements of nature.  I show gratitude by creating.
